Henry W.S. Schroeder教授是德國(guó)格賴夫斯瓦爾德大學(xué)（國(guó)際古老的大學(xué)之一，有三位諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)校友）神經(jīng)外科教授及主席。他出生于1963年的德國(guó)普倫茨勞，進(jìn)入格賴夫斯瓦爾德大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)醫(yī)學(xué)并在神經(jīng)外科完成了住院醫(yī)師培訓(xùn)（1989-1996年）。1996年，他獲得神經(jīng)外科醫(yī)師認(rèn)證；2001年，博士畢業(yè)，成為神經(jīng)外科副教授；2003-2004年，擔(dān)任格賴夫斯瓦爾德大學(xué)神經(jīng)外科主席。他還是德國(guó)神經(jīng)外科協(xié)會(huì)，神經(jīng)外科醫(yī)師大會(huì)，美國(guó)神經(jīng)外科協(xié)會(huì)的成員。他的主要研究領(lǐng)域包括：顯微神經(jīng)外科手術(shù)和顯微顱底手術(shù)。
